What does you prayer life resemble and are you diligently seeking God? Do you care enough to involve God in your circumstances? How many times do you have to get the same result before you realize it’s time to move on to something more enduring and beneficial like prayer. Without prayer, you walk around on pins and needles, scared to branch out or take a risk, because you know you could be bruised or mistreated, maybe even abused or taken advantage of due to the lack of prayer in your life.
Because of life’s circumstances, there will be persecution. However, with prayer you develop a character that says,” I’d rather be with Jesus than without Him.” “…For they that hunger and thirst after righteousness shall be filled” (Matthew 5:6). We are only righteous through Jesus Christ, and when we hunger for that righteousness, we will be filled and will dwell in the presence of God. “In His presence there is fullness of joy” (Psalm 16:11). No matter what you go through, God will be in the midst for He is standing by you and has never left. However, it is easy for us to deceive ourselves and for the enemy to come in with deceit when we are not prayed up. But when our prayer life is strong, we will see the standard being lifted in the spirit and know that it will be manifested in the natural as well. If we desire the miracles, signs, and wonders of God in our lives, we must step up our prayer lives. More time spent with God equals to the powerful manifestation of His glory in our lives. When we are constantly engaging in God, it will show or be evident in our lives. People will notice that there is a difference in us because of the strong aura of God on our lives. I encourage you to stay drenched in Jesus and He will pour out of you. If you find yourself in a dry place, reach within yourself and remember the love that first captured you. Remember that He has so much more for you, but you have to want more of Him. I charge you, with everything in me to DESIRE Jesus on a deeper level. Don’t get caught up on material things; don’t get so caught up on the issues of this world that you forget what is truly important, time spent with God. Excuses have to go, because while you are making excuses, God is pouring out to those who are after His heart. He is pouring out on those who are spending time with Him. More prayer equals more power!
